corticospinal tract n any of four columns of motor fibers of which two run on each side of the spinal cord and which are continuations of the pyramids of the medulla oblongata: PYRAMIDAL TRACT:
a) LATERAL CORTICOSPINAL TRACT
b) VENTRAL CORTICOSPINAL TRACT
