anticoagulant rodenticide poisoning

accidental poisoning of domestic animals or livestock, with death from hemorrhaging, after consuming an anticoagulant rodenticide such as an indanedione or warfarin derivative. They may eat the poison itself or may eat rodents that died from such rodenticides.
