gestational trophoblastic neoplasia

(GTN) a group of neoplastic disorders that originate in the placenta, including the benign hydatidiform mole and the malignant chorioadenoma destruens and choriocarcinoma. Called also gestational trophoblastic disease and trophoblastic disease.
