- gamma globulin fraction of antiserum derived from animals that have been immunized against human thymocytes; an immunosuppressive agent that causes specific destruction of T lymphocytes and is used in treatment of allograft rejection. The term is sometimes used interchangeably with antilymphocyte globulin.
