[TA] meridional fibers of ciliary muscle: the most external fibers of the ciliary muscle that run meridionally or longitudinally from the reticulum trabeculae toward the ciliary processes. Called also BrÑŒcke fibers and longitudinal fibers of ciliary muscle.
