anti–acetylcholine receptor (anti-AChR) antibodies

circulating autoantibodies against the acetylcholine receptors of the myoneural junction. High titers are demonstrable in about 85 per cent of myasthenia gravis patients; false positives are rare. Called also acetylcholine receptor a's.
